May Newsletter: Keeping it Local

This month we are showing that good food and drink can also be found closer to home, starting with our English Cheese and Wine Evening, where we tasted food and drink from English producers, including Enfield’s Forty Hall Farm, Tottenham’s urban cheesemakers, Wildes Cheese, and wine from Forty Hall Community Vineyard.

In our May newsletter we also introduce another local treasure:  Holtwhites Baker, Ian O’Neill.  Ian has been our night baker since we opened in 2011. While most of us are heading to bed, his working day is just beginning… Ian, we salute you!
