We are an independent artisan bakery, baking the best bread, cakes and pastries we can for the people of Enfield and beyond. Established in 2011 by husband and wife team Richard and Kate, our mission is to delight our customers with a changing selection of exceptional quality products and great service.

Our open plan shop and bakery offers a feast for the senses: the inviting aroma of freshly-baked bread and pastries, the eye-popping display of cakes and buns, the crackling crust of loaves hot from the oven and the mouthwatering taste of food made as it should be.

Take a peek through the window into the bakery and watch us lovingly measure, mix, shape and bake. We strive for perfection and we don’t take any short-cuts. Our baked goods and take-away lunches are all made from scratch using the best quality ingredients. Artificial additives and “improvers” have no place in our bakery. Skill, care and time make our products taste better naturally. So you know exactly what you are eating, and where it comes from.

To accompany our baked goods we have selected a range of deli items made by producers who, like us, are passionate about their craft. Our cheese counter boasts some of the very best British and continental farmhouse cheeses. Shelves are stocked with freshly-roasted coffee beans, craft beers, wines, preserves and more. Many of these products feature in our take-away lunch menu, and they can also be sampled at our regular food, beer and wine tasting events.


Holtwhites Bakery & Deli is now open 7 days a week, except for bank holidays.
