Telephone orders

Our shop can get busy and we often sell out early, especially on weekends and at other peak times such as Easter and Christmas. If you know what you want then we recommend that you order in advance to avoid disappointment. Call on the day or order on our online shop (see below).

If no one is available to answer the phone, please leave a voice message stating your name, order and contact telephone number, and we’ll pick up your message as soon as we can.

Large and special orders

If you require a large number of items (i.e. more than half a dozen loaves), or if you want to order burger buns, whole cakes, celebration cakes or special deli items, please give at least one week’s notice if possible. Call the shop or email

Christmas & Easter orders

At Easter and Christmas we have a cut-off date for guaranteed orders. Look out for ordering information in the shop or sign up for our free email newsletters.

Home delivery

Orders can be placed & paid for on our online shop for collection the next day OR home delivery on Tuesday and Friday in postcodes EN1, EN2, EN3, N21, N13 & N14. On Fridays only we can also deliver to addresses in EN4 & EN5. We are sorry that we no longer have capacity to deliver to addresses outside of these postcodes; orders outside of our delivery area will need to be cancelled & refunded.

This is how it works:

1. Click & collect:
Products can be ordered & paid online for collection from the shop the next day if the order is placed by 1pm (click & collect). E.g. order by 3pm today for collection tomorrow. If you order after 1pm today your order will be for collection the day after tomorrow.

2. Home delivery on Tuesday and Friday only:

Order by 1pm Saturday for delivery on Tuesday

Order by 1pm on Tuesday for delivery on Friday.

If you have family or friends who find it difficult to order online, please consider ordering on their behalf or tagging their order onto your own. We are only able to deliver orders that have been placed via our online shop.

For the safety of our team and customers in the current COVID-19 situation, our delivery team cannot make face-to-face contact with customers so please specify clearly where we should leave your order (e.g. on your doorstep; behind a gate etc). We will call or message you when we deliver to confirm where we have left it. We cannot take responsibility for any orders left unattended.
