July News: France

Last week we went to Paris on a little field trip!  Whilst we were there, Richard paid a visit to the “Grand Moulins de Paris”, where the Campaillette Grand Siècle flour that we use in our baguettes is milled. This high quality flour with no additives is the all-important ingredient which gives our baguettes their distinctive texture and flavour. Apart from our renowned French pastries, we also have plenty of deli treats produced by our friends across the Channel, with new cheeses being added to the counter all the time.  We are also delighted to introduce Lynda, our lovely (French) shop assistant, who tells us about her favourite food and music.
